The daughter of president Donald Trump recently spoke about the venture during a podcast appearance, describing it as one of the biggest projects she and husband Jared Kushner have ever undertaken.<\/p>\n
The project centers on Sazan Island, a largely undeveloped island off the coast of Albania that was once used as a military base.<\/p>\n
While Trump described the island as an extraordinary opportunity, some critics were quick to voice concerns after details of the project resurfaced online.<\/p>\n

Social media users draw comparisons
\nSocial media users, however, began comparing the project to Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s private Caribbean island, Little Saint James, which became infamous due to the disgraced financier\u2019s criminal activities.<\/p>\n
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were photographed together on multiple occasions during the 1980s and 1990s.<\/p>\n
However, Trump has repeatedly denied ever visiting Epstein\u2019s private island. Still, many social media users rushed to voice their suspicions about Ivanka Trump\u2019s project.<\/p>\n

Some critics have also argued that development could threaten local wildlife and alter the island\u2019s natural landscape.<\/p>\n
