Woman In Shock After Waking Up To Find Her Boss Standing At End Of Her Bed After Calling In Sick
\nA woman has shared a shocking account of what happened after she called out sick from work, claiming she woke up to find her boss standing over her bed.
\nIt\u2019s the kind of situation most people would consider a complete nightmare.<\/p>\n
When you\u2019re under the weather, work is usually the last thing on your mind, and seeing your boss is probably even further down the list.<\/p>\n
But according to content creator Mish, who posts from the handle @mishyymbabyy on TikTok, that\u2019s exactly what happened to her.<\/p>\n
After letting her workplace know she wouldn\u2019t be coming in, Mish says she was startled awake by the sight of her boss standing at the foot of her bed.<\/p>\n
Viewers are horrified by the story
\nPeople online have been left stunned by Mish\u2019s viral TikTok, with many expressing disbelief over what allegedly happened.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a nightmare man\u2026 he came into your safe place\u2026. Ugh!!!! I\u2019m so upset for you,\u201d one commenter writes.<\/p>\n
Others shared stories about times when their own employers crossed professional boundaries.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy last boss sent three people to bang on my window when I overslept to wake me up and I thought that was bad but THIS???\u201d another person says.<\/p>\n
Somebody else recalls: \u201cI had a boss who relied on me heavily. I never skipped a day out of those six days of working. One day I called off and he pulled up and forced me to go to work. And said I can\u2019t call out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many viewers were also angry on Mish\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe genuinely thought this was OK??? I hope you called the cops!\u201d one person commented.<\/p>\n
Mish later addressed that suggestion, replying: \u201cI didn\u2019t but I wish I did, even though I really don\u2019t think they would have done much.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, another viewer commented: \u201cI thought it was only in movies where people just walk into other people\u2019s homes without being invited in, it doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s unlocked.\u201d<\/p>\n
The viral TikTok that started it all
\nThe text overlay on Mish\u2019s original TikTok reads: \u201cI called out of work and was sleeping peacefully but I woke up minutes later to my boss standing at the foot of my bed saying that he came to pick me up.\u201d<\/p>\n
The video quickly gained traction online, prompting Mish to create a follow-up clip to explain exactly what had happened.<\/p>\n
And according to her, the full story was even stranger.<\/p>\n
She begins by saying: \u201cSo one morning, I woke up and I was feeling like complete s***.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a stomach bug and I decided to call out of work that day, obviously, I shouldn\u2019t be working in a restaurant with a stomach bug.<\/p>\n
\u201cI called my boss, I talked to him in person. He says, OK, whatever, that\u2019s fine. Bye. Click.\u201d<\/p>\n
After ending the call, Mish says she told her roommate she was going back to sleep.<\/p>\n
An unlocked door leads to an unexpected visitor
\nShe explains: \u201cI tell my roommate I\u2019m really sick, I\u2019m gonna go back to bed and go to sleep.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the mornings, my roommate really likes to smoke and play his guitar and sing.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo with me being sick, trying to sleep upstairs, he decided he would go outside, out in the back of my house and kind of sit in the grass and do that.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, he left the door unlocked, thinking like, he\u2019s right there, he\u2019s not going anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, Mish says that decision would end up having unexpected consequences.<\/p>\n
According to her, \u201cMy boss pulled in the driveway, my boss claims that he knocked on the door, but nobody answered.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rather than leaving, her boss allegedly decided to enter the home because the door was unlocked.<\/p>\n
Waking up to a shocking sight
\nMish claims her boss went as far as walking upstairs and entering her bedroom.<\/p>\n
She recalls: \u201cThat\u2019s when I woke up, and he\u2019s standing at the foot of my bed, kind of waving at me, like, \u2018Hey, hey, I know that you called out, but maybe you just don\u2019t wanna drive, and I\u2019ll drive you in, and then you could still work?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The content creator says she was completely taken aback by what she saw.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt that point, I woke up. I literally thought I was having a fever dream. Like, this is not OK,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
According to Mish, her boss eventually left the house. She later claimed that several weeks after the incident, she lost her job due to issues involving her ex-partner allegedly harassing her at the workplace.<\/p>\n
