Hair length and hairstyle are things that don\u2019t harm anyone. They are personal decisions that deserve respect. Whether you like someone\u2019s hairstyle or not is irrelevant, as long as that person is comfortable and happy with it.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, many people seem unable to understand this simple idea. They feel the need to criticize everything, even the hairstyles of a few young boys.<\/p>\n
Whenever you see someone doing something you find unusual or disagreeable, pause and ask yourself: is it hurting anybody else?<\/p>\n
If the answer is \u201cno,\u201d it\u2019s best to carry on with your own life and allow others to make their own decisions. You have no right to determine what is best for someone else, particularly when you haven\u2019t even tried to understand their reasons.<\/p>\n
Taking the time to ask questions could give you an entirely different understanding of the situation.<\/p>\n

Still, plenty of people fail to grasp this basic lesson and insist on passing judgment on everything, including the long hair of young boys.<\/p>\n
All six brothers experienced bullying while growing their hair. Sadly, the criticism didn\u2019t come only from children their own age. Adults also made unfair judgments and directed cruel remarks at them. Grown-ups, of all people, should know better!<\/p>\n
A special reason
\nWhat the bullies failed to understand was that the boys had a meaningful reason for growing their hair. A family friend had died of cancer, and some of the boys were close to their friend\u2019s age. The loss deeply affected them, and they wanted to find a way to make a difference.<\/p>\n
That was when all six brothers decided to grow their hair long and donate it to Children with Hair Loss, a nonprofit organization. After months of waiting and growing their hair, they finally donated a combined total of 17 feet of hair!<\/p>\n
