Late one evening a Marine pulled into a little town, only to find that every hotel room was taken.<\/p>\n
When he finally got to the last hotel, he pleaded to the manager, \u201cYou\u2019ve got to have a room somewhere, or just a bed, I don\u2019t care where.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, I do have a double room with one occupant, a Navy guy,\u201d admitted the manager, \u201cand he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I\u2019m not sure it\u2019d be worth it to you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo problem,\u201d the tired Marine assured him, \u201cI\u2019ll take it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The next morning the Marine came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow did you sleep?\u201d asked the manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo problem with the other guy snoring, then?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNope, I shut him up in no time,\u201d said the Marine.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow\u2019d you manage that?\u201d asked the manager.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room,\u201d the Marine explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, \u2018Goodnight, beautiful,\u2019 and after that he sat up all night watching me\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
