The scandal that ended Marjorie Wallace\u2019s reign as Miss World<\/p>\n

It might just be a typical photo of a couple having a good time on vacation, two people who appear to have found their calling in life together.<\/p>\n

However, it is impossible to view Tom Jones and Marjorie Wallace in the same light now that we are aware of everything that happened behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot quite Mr. Faithful.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Tom Jones was at his most famous, in the 1960s and 1970s, he was a hottie with a wild lifestyle who allegedly slept with hundreds of women.At the height of his fame, Tom, who took on the role of sex icon, has previously acknowledged that he had 250 sexual encounters annually.<\/p>\n

At a time when interracial partnerships were still frowned upon in many parts of America, he had a brief affair with Mary Wilson of the Supremes, one of his many well-publicized romances.<\/p>\n

The catch is that Jones had a loving wife named Linda at home while he was pursuing his dreams of being a rock star. She tragically died of lung cancer in 2016, after 59 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe wasn\u2019t exactly Mr Faithful from the start,\u201d biographer Sean Smith told the Daily Mail in 2015.<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s unknown how much Linda knew about her husband\u2019s dubious past, it\u2019s certain that she had a bad feeling. When he was on tour, Sir Tom claims that the couple had a \u201cdon\u2019t ask\u201d rule.<\/p>\n

Jones has never held back when talking about his infamous extramarital romances, but his relationship with Marjorie Wallace stands out above the others.<\/p>\n

The first American to win the title of Miss World<\/p>\n

Born on January 23, 1954, Marjorie Wallace was a woman whose name would soon reverberate through the halls of history. She enthralled the globe with her breathtaking beauty and indisputable charm as an actress, TV personality, model, and beauty queen.<\/p>\n

Marjorie had a rebellious streak after her parents\u2019 divorce, which devastated her world when she was just 14 years old.<\/p>\n

She demonstrated that she wasn\u2019t scared to follow her own gut by embarking on a 1,200-mile road trip to Miami with a friend, demonstrating her already strong desire for adventure.<\/p>\n

She also participated in the typical high school activities, such as cheerleading and competitive swimming, which helped her establish a reputation as both athletic and determined. Her adolescence wasn\u2019t all chaos, though.<\/p>\n

Relationships with men become more significant in her life as she grew older. She truly began to love the world of music and rebellion when she moved in with a guitarist from the indie rock band Pure Funk when she was seventeen years old.<\/p>\n
